When you add a new card to your vault, our smart visual scanner inspects the photo to confirm it is an authentic trading card, filtering out non-cards, personal photos and junk. It then automatically reads and pre-fills the player's name, set year, grading company (such as PSA, BGS, SGC or CGC), grade and certification number so you don't have to type them by hand.

Card Slab Connect is exclusively for genuine physical sports cards, trading cards and certified collectible slabs, covering Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer, Hockey, Pokémon, TCG, F1 and more. Non-card photos such as personal selfies, casual portraits, family photos, screenshots, memes, pets or unrelated objects are strictly prohibited.

• Non-card uploads may be rejected during card addition or removed by moderators.

You can appreciate any card in the community stream by tapping the heart icon. The heart lights up and increases the like count shown beside the card. Tapping the like count opens the Likers list so you can see fellow collectors who appreciated that card. When another collector likes one of your cards, you receive a real-time notification.

Your Wishlist helps you track target slabs you are actively hunting for. When you acquire a target card in real life, tap 'Quick' to immediately settle it into your permanent vault with a single tap, or choose 'Settle & Buy' to customize the purchase price, date and card photo before moving it to your collection.

When a fellow collector marks a card in their collection as 'Offered for Trade' that matches a slab on your Wishlist, the app automatically sends you a Trade Match alert. This lets you connect directly with the owner, inspect their slab and negotiate a trade.

Yes. In Settings under Privacy Controls, you have independent switches for each area of your account. You can set your profile to private, hide your vault collection from peers, keep your wishlist confidential, or require fellow collectors to send a follow request that you manually approve before they can view your cards.

Yes. In Privacy Controls, switch on 'Hide Financials & Portfolio Net Worth'. When other collectors view your profile or inspect your cards, dollar estimates, purchase costs and your total estimated portfolio value are concealed.

Tap the star icon on any card slab to mark it as a personal favorite. You can use the Favorites filter in your collection toolbar to immediately view your top personal grails. If you want to keep your favorites confidential from peers, turn on 'Keep Starred Favorites Private' in Privacy Settings.

When attending crowded card conventions, trade shows or public venues, switching between apps can expose sensitive portfolio values to nearby onlookers. Card Slab Connect automatically detects when the app is minimized or switched and displays a protective privacy shield until you return. You can also turn on Inactivity Auto-Lock for extra security.

Yes. Card Slab Connect automatically removes GPS location data, latitude and longitude coordinates, and camera metadata from card images before saving them, helping prevent your home or vault location from being exposed through uploaded photos.

The collection and wishlist grids use a smooth staggered entrance animation whenever you open a tab or adjust your filters. This provides a responsive feel that brings your slabs into view with fluid motion.

If you spot a counterfeit slab, fake certification number, non-card photo or inappropriate behavior, tap the 'Report' button on the card modal. Appointed community moderators and the Master Administrator review reports in the moderation queue and can remove violating items.

Accounts uploading non-card images or offensive media may receive temporary suspensions ranging from 24 hours to 30 days, or permanent bans. Submitting false, fraudulent or retaliatory reports against other collectors is also prohibited and may result in account penalties.

Yes. If you lose cellular connection or attend a convention with weak Wi-Fi, Card Slab Connect displays an Offline Mode status banner and allows you to browse your saved collection vault. The app reconnects automatically when your connection returns.

Yes. You can download a backup of your collection and settings, export FAQs and Privacy Policy information to CSV, or permanently delete your account, card vault, wishlist and associated records from Settings.
